Project Sugita Genpaku (プロジェクト杉田玄白) is a project to translate AIMS That free happy texts into Japanese. Translated texts are distributed under an open source -like license. The project was founded by Hiro Yamagata in 1999,

The name is after- Sugita Genpaku , a famous Japanese scholar in Edo era Who translated a Dutch book about anatomy in the first time in Japan, Known As Kaitai-shinsho .
